Snoopy has landed!

After 26 months of waiting, this unusual, cheerful Omega watch was added to my collection. A few words about him. Under the magnifying glass x10, I noticed that on the right sub-dial there are micro pieces of paint from the "powder-coated" needle, and the left one, the one with stars and an alien dog, is not so perfectly painted blue - you can see a puncture, white micro-dots in two places. The chrono hand zeros perfectly in the middle of the index - it's perfect. The dial is very interesting, there are minor imperfections on the 5-minute indices, as well as on the metal clips of the small hands on the sub-dials (right and middle). The brushing of the sides of the case at first glance is at a decent level, looking under high magnification I could say that they could try harder. Overall an interesting, distinctive watch from Omega's portfolio. And whether it will wear well, I will be able to tell only when the bracelet arrives. I ordered a sapphire bracelet from Moon, it should arrive in 4 weeks. The theme of the original belt can be summed up in one word - drama! Not wearable.

Congratulations .... well worth the wait.

And thanks for the heads-up of the watch under closer examination.... I'll avoid doing that.

Thank you all for your kind words! In 4-6 weeks I will write something more as soon as the ordered bracelet arrives. Then I will be able to wear it a little - test it on my hands.

Congratulations! Yeah it's really sad that almost no one wears it on the original strap. It's such a good looking strap but so stiff and not adjustable.

Agreed. I remember it feeling pretty uncomfortable when I tried one on.

Terribly stiff, I also have trouble fastening the buckle and then unfastening it. It fits like a headband and the case itself sticks out from the wrist. This original strap is very uncomfortable.

Have you noticed the dial is not white but silver yet? When I first got it, I thought it was most like white, but now I realize it's silver.

Agree, doesn't look white at all, definitely silver from all angles.

The one thing I genuinely loved when I saw it in the flesh.

I ordered a new bracelet from Moon with sapphire glass - the one with polished middle links. It will come with a quick micro-adjustment in the clasp.
