No waitlist for Keanu Reeves?

How long was Keanu on the waitlist at Watches of Switzerland to amass a bag of Submariners?

I believe Rolex also works with this type of arrangement via dealers. 24 Hour race winners and team members may also get a Daytona.

It's simple when you can bundle 40 diamond necklaces with the deal.

It's Keanu Reeves, obviously any AD would bend over backwards for him.

Not everyone is treated equally in the real world!

He is legit a cool dude.

Know a couple folks who have interacted with him and nothing but praise. Very humble, unassuming, and nice to everyone.

I think he did this for an earlier film in the franchise awards well. All watches engraved for the stunt guys.

There is no evidence he bought them at an AD.
Grey market dealers are always well stocked up.

Many years ago Jeremy Clarkson asked his local Porsche dealer for a 911 GT3. They told him to get in line. He then proceeded to slag off the brand for decades.

Since then, luxury brands have learned the power of celebrity endorsements is massive and even Porsche succumbed to 'brand ambassadors'.

Which Reeves isn't of course, although he's one of the most famous actors in the world so he almost is lol.

Based on Reeves' reputation, he may well have walked into AD, asked if they had five Subs, gotten "the spiel," then put his name down on the waitlist.

I'm guessing OP was not serious with title of post. As said before I have heard nothing but good things about him. I like the movie Point Break, however, some of the way he delivers his lines are laughable. I like the dude. Anyway, when you are an A lister you get what you want; usually without having to wait.

For all of 2022 he may have brought the AD staff coffee and donuts every two weeks.

Or he bought the entire AD. It would be pennies for Keanu.

He killed people with a pencil, can you not listen to him?
Plus, it is a good thing that he did, Rolex did his favor and earned a free advertisement for the brand with a positive impression.

I legit thought from the title that we now have a watch we are calling “Keanu Reeves” similar to John Mayer. I did think for a second what a matrix rolex watch may look like…

I think people like Keanu live in a different universe to mere mortals like us. And good luck to him, he’s earned his status.

He may have bought many trays of donuts and lattes, but suspect he’s a Super Whale

A few years back, he turned up on his own to watch a gig that a mate of mine was playing in a small bar in Manchester. He’s a very cool man

I am glad I got my Keanu Reeves! Not too long of a wait list for the Keanu Reeves (126610LN).

With only anecdotal evidence I would be willing to bet that RolexSA and even distributors like RolexUSA have special concierge type people for non-ambassador VIP types. I’m sure whomever Keanu first spoke to about his request was able to get the multiple Subs for him quickly. I think the same thing applies for Hollywood celebrities and sports stars who always seem to have the latest thing as soon as it’s released. It’s good advertising to have high profile people wearing your product.
