How can I locate this watch DateJust

Hello: I'm trying to locate this Datejust 36 ref 126233. Only to find out no one has it in stock for purchase. Is there any easier method of locating a watch. I've had AD's to tell me will put your name on a list and you will have to wait for one to come in. Is this watch that in-demand?

Thank you,
JP

I worry about buying from the grey market. I prefer factory warranty.

you will still have it if you buy grey, assuming it's still within the 5 year window

Just wait for the AD to call back, my friend. There's nothing more to it than keeping in touch with them and reminding them from time to time that you're still interested

i'd buy (and have bought) without hesitation from davidsw and sdwatches (username justrolexes).

both of those guys have been around for years (a decade +) serving this forum.

by the way - rolex will honor the factory warranty through greys. as long as you have the warranty card, you're good.

i understand the hesitation and bought my first 3 through AD. Now, though, if my AD gives me any nonsense, it's straight to grey and watch on wrist in 48h. Then, i take it to my AD for sizing

honestly, though - someone ought to be able to produce that piece for your fast. it is not hard to get at all.

Wimbledon dial is very popular for Datejust, if you don't like to get it from secondary market, you will have to wait at your AD.

Look at our Trusted Sellers, get on the phone and give them a call and see what they will do on the watch. Remember asking and getting are two different numbers. DavidSW is my go to seller. Check out his website. Several other good ones on here also.

…your AD should be able to get it between 16 to 20 weeks.

It's a two tone 36. Realistically, if you have a small amount of patience you'll get this from an AD within a sensible timeframe. No need to pay grey prices for a piece like this.

Purchased the 41mm on the secondary market last month. Saved a $1000 from what it would have cost me at the local AD. It was complete and just 6 months into the 5 year Rolex warranty. One may be surprised what can be found if one takes the time to dig in and knows a few people in the business.

You will have a wait of some kind for virtually all Rolex models. Unfortunately it's not like going into a showroom to buy an Omega, on the upside they retain value much better than an Omega (or similar)
It's not a particularly in demand model so you shouldn't have to wait long.
