Here we go! Partner, I don't think you realize what you've just stepped into. To answer your question, pretty much any of them. Good luck!

Then that would be the DD36 YG. The former has worn the same one for decades if I recall.

Forget Rolex. Smart money is on Omega and Panerai. Can't lose!

The best investments work better with leverage. Since you can’t buy a Rolex on margin, recommended putting several on a credit card or second mortgage your home- best models are sub 36mm all precious metals.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Do a little research around her first. This topic is highly frowned upon here. We buy watches because we love watches, not as an investment. If you do that, you'll be much happier in the long run.

This. Welcome to the Forum but please understand we are here because we love watches, not to purchase them as investment devices. None of us are naive to the fact that many models hold their MSRP value (or higher) over the years, but that’s not why the majority of us have bought the Rolex or Rolexes we own.

If you’re solely interested in purchasing to invest, your questions will be better answered on an investment forum, Reddit thread, etc. If you actually want to buy a watch to wear and enjoy, and are just curious which models might retain the most value over time, then you’ll want to rephrase your question accordingly.

In either case I hope you find the answers you seek.

His limit was $15k. Tapped out early. Stainless daytona more than that.

Good call here especially if you diversify your portfolio with one of every model in the lineup. Think of the sport range like tech and the classics like blue chips. Go with a ratio of 3 steel to 1 gold and you'll have a great asset mix.

A large majority of us don’t look at them as investments, but nice watches that most likely won’t lose value if kept for many years.
I suggest go with the ole iconic workhouse, Submariner Date. Grab the latest model, 126610LN with box and papers to wear plus enjoy. If you decide to sell it in 20 years, no one knows what the market will be, but I’m confident you won’t lose any money, plus you got to wear a cool watch all that time.
Good look with your advantage of finding a Rolex.

Get a Submariner it checks all the boxes, and worst case it’s good for a flight out of anywhere.
