Searching for Watch rolls in Switzerland as a tourist

Hi, I’ll be travelling to Switzerland for holiday and was wondering if it’ll be a good place to shop for a 3 slot leather watch roll with a budget of $100 USD

Doubt it Switzerland is one of the most expensive places on this planet.

Not sure what you have for watches, assuming that you are on this forum that maybe 1 or 2 of them are Rolexes, 100 budget for something to protect your watches doesn’t make sense to me.
IMHO

I’ve gotta agree here. Spending thousands of dollars on watches and protecting in a $100 roll doesn’t make sense. Get something solid and sturdy, not sure you’ll find something at that price.

A 20USD donut case from Case Budi, Oakley when they were still available and a bunch of other off the wall brands made from Cordura with a felt or velour lining are quite capable of protecting any watch.
Sure, if you can afford luxury watches you likely can afford an accompanying luxury watch roll but it doesn't mean anything that someone chooses not to do so. I don't care for a fancy watch roll, Oakley Watch vaults have served me just fine for >20 years.

I doubt you will find anything of quality in your price range. I would shop it online. A lot of the companies which make straps also make the rolls.

I’d be amazed if you could get what you’re looking for in that price range especially in Switzerland but good luck with the search

I purchased a "M Mirage Luxury Travel" roll on Amazon. Inexpensive, yes. But the quality is outstanding and comes in a variety of sizes and colors along with a pouch and box to hold the roll in. Outstanding reviews as well. Not posting a link because I think it's against the rules.

Don’t want to be brutally honest but no way you’ll get anything for that price here in Switzerland… you can check Lucrin but a three slots watch roll costs 450 CHF

If you change your destination plans to a less expensive country then your budget might fit your watchroll wishes.

As others have said, a quality product at or under $100 will be difficult to find. Id be patient and save a few more bucks and go with something from Bosphorus Leather.

https://www.bosphorusleather.com/

Their products are worth every penny.

I have multiple watch rolls and a watch suitcase from them. The quality is fantastic.

I couldn't disagree more. I posted about this Mirage case above but didn't use a link to it. Since I see others are posting links, so I have as well. Quality product, multiple colors and sizes. I own two of them and have used them on trips and will definitely secure your watch. Quality company as well.

The roll looks okay, but the design of the pillows is a major shortcoming. After years of sliding the pillows in and out of the roll, the fabric will likely become frayed / worn. I’ve seen this in real-life on even higher end rolls with the same design. Bosphorus uses quality brass snaps to secure the pillows, which will last far longer than anything causing fabric to fabric friction.

I’d rather buy once, and support a small company who makes their products by hand. Best of luck to the OP on the search - buying quality leather goods can be as addicting as our watches :)

I actually have this roll, and have had it for 3 years, no issues and it's quite nice.

Well slap my grandma and call me Nancy, sounds like this roll is the ticket!

But mine has my initials burned into the Ostrich leather, so beat that!

Hahah :)

I recommend one of the following watch rolls:
Mirage, Carapaz, Everest, Bosphorus Leather, Rapport London, Scatola del Tempo

OP - 100USD is not enough budget for a well regarded ("branded") leather watch roll. For 100USD you might find one online that doesn't have the brand recognition and associated price.
Enjoy your trip. Switzerland is a beautiful country.

Only use Phase de Lune for my travel rolls now. They’re simply the best. Carapaz has some good ones too, but PdL is a notch above.
