Forgive me, I am just excited

Guys,

The more situations I experience with the Polar the more I think it is amazing.

It is incredibly comfortable and balanced, wears flat on the wrist.

But the best part? That white dial with the big markers and the black coating…

That dial… so fresh, so pretty, so unique and SO legible.

Saying that I like it more than my Submariner is an understatement. I am reconsidering the sub in my collection at the moment.

Had to let it out.

Have you seen it in low light yet when the lumes cast a blue glow over the face of the dial? That's something you won't forget. And you can still read the time without difficulty.

Really fantastic Daniel. You’ve inspired me to go have a look at this reference at my AD

Now as for that Submariner… I wouldn’t do anything hasty. Let the honeymoon settle with your new EXP2. I find I always go back to Submariners

I keep coming back to this one and might have to have another look. I think it's great all around.

Wise words. However, difficult when the euphoria is pulsing. My first Rolex was a 216570. It over delivered by such a wide margin that I simply had to get a Sub. I couldn't wait. It took six months which under the circumstances was the epitome of restraint!

Very nice, this was my first Rolex.

I prefer reflections from my hands and indices, which is why this will never come close to a Submariner (for me), but I completely understand the attraction of this piece.

The Explorer II is a great watch and one that sits on my wrist as I write this. I started with the Polar and the white dial really pops. The watch sits so flat on the wrist and while somewhat larger at 42mm, it wears great. I liked it so much that I bought the black dial version also. Funny thing is that the black dial gets more wear now than the Polar. Enjoy.

Love your excitement and enthusiasm Daniel! It is a spectacular reference and incredibly sporty!

You'll love it for a long time!

The honeymoon period is the best! Don't divorce that Sub quite yet though because of something new and exciting. Let things settle. A Submariner and Exp II make sense in any collection.

Congrats again!

Completely share your enthusiasm for this watch, Daniel. I picked mine up from my AD on May 2nd after an 11 month wait. It quickly became my favorite Rolex and will likely continue to hold that rank. Almost 3 months of wear and I find myself reaching for it all the time. Enjoy your watch, but definitely keep the sub.

Forgive me, I am just excited

Sadly, though I like it, it’s too large , for me. ….
