Icon8 Vacheron 4500V issue

Purchased an Overseas a few weeks ago and watch checked out fine at boutique. Next day after setting time, upon screwing down crown it was very gritty. Watchmaker at boutique agreed there was an issue and it was replaced with another. New watch comes in and all checks out fine at boutique, a few days later similar issue. This time the crown has quite a bit of friction when screwing down, definitely not normal. Dissatisfied to say the least! Could there be a QC issue? Should I return it or try for another?
Interested to hear varying opinions.
Thx!

Have had no issues with VC. Definitely seems off.

I’d give it one more go. And then call it quits.

If it were me, I'd return it. I don't know much about the model or movement but if it's a new release, maybe wait a while and see if issues are brought to light with the series or a solution rolled out.
