Back From Yosemite...........

I had some great hikes and the weather was magnificant....

Here are the usual Tourist shots..

Half Dome:



And a different view...the front face of El Capitan:



Not much water in the Park in late Summer.. We plan to go back in the Spring for the water falls..

Bridal Veil with just a thin wisp of water falling over the edge..

Thanks Guys..

Yosemite Falls, one of the most famous and photographed falls in the world is made up of runoff from snow pack and only flows across the granite during the late winter and spring..

Here it is in late Summer........... it is the stain to the right of center....

Awesome pictures. They look like post cards. That is one of my dream visits, both for the climbing and hiking/scenery but mostly the climbing for me. Thanks for the pics Larry, and don't be shy - I know there's more. LOL ...

Stunning photographs Larry. I can see you are a Canon person. (sorry Im with the Nikon camp). But great photos nonetheless. Pure curiosity Larry were you using filters ? I love the deep blue skies.

I usually shoot with a Polarizer for most scenes, especially in bright light....... But the skies are really blue out west...........
