Deepsea... is it really limited?

I've been reading everything I can find about the new Deepsea, and several times it has been mentioned that the Deepsea is will be available in limited numbers. I know it isn't technically a limited edition, but what does this really mean when it is available in limited numbers?

10,000 pieces, 100,000 pieces?

My guess is that it will be available based on demand.

There is no such thing as "limited" when it comes to Rolex.

Every thing is in "limited numbers"......... But I don't think that there will be a shortage of the Deep Sea any time soon......

Most of the big Dealers usually have one in stock.....

I've never seen the DSSD referred to as "limited", but knowing Rolex they'll make as many as the market demands.

Yes it is limited
because at Rolex, they only work 235 days a year.. instead of 365
so.. a limited production model...

And believe they have little watchmaker elves to make up production when factory is closed.

The only limited Rolexes IMO are the discontinued ones.

i dont think its limited..just like they said when the LV sub.. was first introduced ..i bought it when it first came..thinking that it is in limited numbers but actually its not the case. since there is a demand.. they will keep producing it.. until it gets discontinued..just like the sea dweller...

Until recently my AD always had a Deep Sea in the case, but now they can't keep up with demand.

Interest is growing. I've ordered one through a gray dealer. I'll post pictures when it comes in.
