Krayon Anywhere Aurora
https://watchilove.com/krayon-presen...atch-by-krayon
Anywhere now released in green and titanium. Same complication, same 39 by 9.5mm case. I understand Rémi Maillat designs and assembles the watch. Pricing here is S$227,000 (not sure what's the CHF pricing before tax), a slight increase over the blue. Last pic is from Monochrome Watches. Thoughts? |

Beautiful and a very romantic complication. Maybe a useful one for some customers, depending on faith.

Very cool but for me, in that price range, there are too many other independents like Gruebel or Kari that I'd be interested in.

Beautifully done. Not for me but you can see the quality for sure.

The Six AM and Six PM seem backwards to me, the month dial isn’t really working for me either.

Beautiful, but personally after seeing those artistic dials on the OnlyWatch & other limited editions incl. physically handling one in person, I'm not sure how I feel about these "regular" editions.

Watch is boring and name is ridiculous. Price makes no sense, the watches you can have for even a little less than this totally blow it out of the water.

This is what the watch does (from SJX) ~
The Anywhere indicates sunrise and sunset times via rings on the periphery of the dial. Sitting one level below the main dial, the rings are light and dark for daytime and nighttime respectively. The length of the light and dark segments are physical representations of the length of the day and night, with the borders between the two indicating sunrise and sunset. Because the length of the day changes according to the seasons in most of the world, the size of the segments will vary throughout the year, and the borders will move as the length of the day changes. The seasonality of sunrise and sunset times explains the calendar display at six o’clock – setting the calendar moves the light and dark rings, reflecting the changing length of the day throughout the year. In the northern hemisphere, nights will be long during the winter months, leading to a large dark segment. While at the equator, day and night are almost equal in length all the time, so the light and dark segments will each occupy about half the dial and remain mostly unchanged throughout the year. A Sun-shaped pointer on the edge of the dial is a 24-hour indicator, while also functioning as a display of the motion of the Sun. When the Sun pointer crosses the border from light to dark segment, it means the Sun has set. But unlike the Everywhere that could be adjusted for any location on Earth, the Anywhere can only show sunrise and sunset times for one location. Though the location can be changed easily via a series of adjustment screws in the movement, a watchmaker has to open the watch and make the change. https://watchesbysjx.com/2020/05/kra...re-review.html |

I have previously tried the blue and love the size and fit. The movement finishing is gorgeous (apols my photo can't capture the sharp angles).

It is a cool watch when I knew it. Remi put lots of thoughts in designing the movement and balance the colors.
I paid it long time ago and waiting for the delivery. Probably by the end of this year. I will post some photos when I receive it. |

Brilliant! Which one did you buy, the white or rose gold?

That rose gold piece looks great actually, I've never seen one in person.
I had the chance of handling this piece unique for OnlyWatch, I really hope this unique dial manages to trickle down to other more affordable watches.

I doubt this dial will ever be done again. Love it though!

It’s pretty cool to think that we tried on the very same watch, given it’s a piece unique on a global tour. I absolutely love that dial.

One if the absolutely great complications. I’d love one, though personally it’s not be the green.

Digging the complication. The design / looks not so much. The watches look more like museum pieces to me than sth I'd want on the wrist.
