If you could own 8 Rolex watches.....what would they be?

Just for fun, let me know what you guys would choose. It is ok to choose less as well.

BTW, hope all of you had a great Christmas!

If I could wish just 8 Rolex wishes this holiday season…

TT DJ 41 champagne
14270 blackout
1016 gloss/gilt dial with chapter ring
6264 full gold
Gold sub blue dial 41mm
1680 red
Rose gold daydate 36 rainbow pave
126500 white

And of course, my ninth wish would be for all the children of the world to join hands and sing in the spirit of harmony and peace.

I’m happy with the 3 I got. But the some of the watches on my wish list would be nice. Definitely some redundancy, but this what I like. Ask me again next week, and I’d probably have some different selections.

Pretty much what I have plus.

16570 - Polar Triitium Dial
16600 - Holes Case Luminova Dial
126655 or 126500 - I really like the new Daytona. It a toss up between the two.
126000 - Green Dial. I need a sort of just understated easy going yet very cool watch.

What a fun question! Allowing me to dream a bit without the restrictions of my wallet!

1) 1675 Root Beer TT on Jubilee with the nipple and sunburst brown dial
2) 6239 SS Daytona with silver dial and black subdials on riveted bracelet
3) 6542 GMT Master w/the Bakelite bezel on Jubilee with either the black or uber rare Albino dial!
4) 126529 WG Daytona LeMans 100th
5) 126710 BLRO on Jubilee
6) 228238 40mm YG Day-Date with fluted bezel, flat green dial and deconstructed Romans
7) 126500 SS Daytona Panda
8) 126618LB Full YG Submariner with blue dial

I had to omit some of my other favs since there are only 8 slots in this "watchbox". Are we allowed to make another post with 8 more in an additional new "watchbox"?? Just kidding.

Oooh 1675 and 6239
I remember the time not so long ago when no one wanted 1675 or 16710. They were so cheap

Are the new movements not any good?
I thought the new improvements were a plus, especially the shock protection and ball-bearing rotor.

Lots of discussion threads on TRF. I've personally had bad experiences three new ones and will never buy another 32XX.

8!? If was a millionaire. Only then I would dream of 8.
All I need is three

SS BLRO
Bluesy
YG DayDate 40

That would take me over a decade to save for. Maybe 2 decades.

8 Rolex feels quite a lot to me. I like other brands in my collection too. But out the Rolex catalogue, without going vintage. A sub, GMT, Daytona and DD are the 4 I would go for

BLNR oyster / BLRO jubilee
DaytonaC white dial (1st gen)
Green Submariner
DD40 /DD36 in YG

That’s imo the best Rolex offers.
