Last Rolex no date Sub without WG surrounds

Is the last commercially available (not Comex or Milsub) no date Submariner without white gold surrounds the 5513? Thanks!

5513 Subs come without or with white gold surrounds, depending on the year of production.

So that is the transitional reference from no surrounds to wg surrounds. I just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something since I know sometimes references can overlap. I've always wanted a no date Sub and I much prefer the look of no surrounds on the markers. Thanks!

No example yet. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't also another reference I should be looking at aside from the 5513 and older.

Yes Mattes are early to mid 8 million SRL no. for 5513 acrylic no date, and same serial range 16800 for sapphire date version.

The 5513 with the matte dial - which did not have the white gold surround markers - was last made approximately late 1983 or early 1984. This was the end of the line for the matte dial version of the "no date" submariners.

Mild diversion - how does this map to Sub Date models and their transition from matte to WG? I believe that the 16800 followed a similar pattern as the 5513.
