Ordering from private party in Europe
Has anyone ever ordered a watch from a private party in Europe using PayPal? How was the transaction? Does Paypal have any leverage outside of the US if something goes wrong?

The prices in Europe should be much higher than in the USA due to currency.
When buying a used watch its always best to: 1. Buy local (Pictures are fine but nothing beats a visual inspection.) 2.Than if it cannot be found you try in your same state or country. 3.If you still cant find it than you try overseas. The risk and cost of the transaction goes up ever time as well. On a modern watch you should be able to find anything you want in the USA Is it a hard to find Vintage piece from a known seller? I have bought and sold all over the world.Just remember the lowest price is not always the best deal there are many other factors in the mix.

Thanks for the advise. Sometime when you have been searching for a long, long time once you find it you may be willing to take a chance to get it. Ihave been searching for a Tudor BB 79180 or 79170 for quite some time now.

I have been there before. If the seller deals in watches and has a good reputation I wouldn't be worried. Are you sure you cant find 1 here in Florida?
