Learning to wear a watch on my right arm for the first time. Two days ago I slipped on ice, fell and broke two bones on the back of my left hand. 4 weeks in a splint and a total of 8 weeks recovery. Could have been worse

Dude….that sucks. On the positive side, it’s a crappy time of year so being out of action now, you’re not missing any good weather.

Very good point and another lucky aspect of an unfortunate incident. The doc asked me if I was right handed and then said, that’s lucky!!

This time of year is when I plan my elected surgeries, like wisdom tooth removal or anything else that is going to make me miserable.
You were just fortunate your timing corresponded with your crappy weather.

Boy you said it. We’re already planning for a spring drive to a beach somewhere as soon as my hand is healed!

I feel your pain. In mid November I fell & shattered my right elbow & arm...I was wearing my day date at the time, but it fared much better than me. 11.5 weeks and 2 surgeries later, I'm still looking at another month of rehab.

Good luck on that left arm!
