First Post, First Rolex: Daytona 126508
Stopped by one AD and asked for a gold Daytona, they didn’t give me the time of day. Went to another AD did the same thing, and he put my name on a list but said it might be a while. 1 month later I get a random call and a voicemail to get the watch. Apparently the guy it was originally for had identity theft issues and couldn’t purchase the watch for 2 weeks, and then I was the next guy on the list that the AD called. First Rolex ever is a 126508, wore it twice already.

Absolutely love the Daytona and absolutely love someone getting a nice watch.
What a wonderfully unusual first Rolex. A full gold Daytona. Wowzers! I'm guessing you have a hefty collection of non-Rolex. I also love the, "Ever," in, "First Rolex ever is a 126508, wore it twice already." It shows you appreciate the unusualness of your piece as a first Rolex. Love it! Finally, I love the, "Wore it twice already." A man who actually wears his Rolex - multiple times! - is a man indeed! |
