Seiko Alpinist spb159j -15/+25 per day with sweet price about $450, what do you think, go or not go?

Great watch. And Seiko is often significantly better on accuracy than advertised.

If accurate timekeeping were one of my primary considerations, I personally would avoid the modern 6Rs. I am by no means anal about timekeeping but I previously owned a watch with the 6R35 in it that I purchased new from an AD and it was so far out of spec I had them send it to Seiko for service. OTOH I owned a different watch with the 6R15 and it was consistently well within spec. These are obviously just two examples. However as I said if timekeeping to a spec is a motivator for you, I’d probably look elsewhere.
