Stolen Datejust 16013 / Serial 8953677
Hey guys, thought I’d try here after 15 years of waiting for a phone call or for it to turn up at a shop. Thief must have one dirty watch or shops aren’t checking databases.
1986 Datejust R16013(310B6252), S/N 8953677. Stolen on or about 4/7/2009 from my home (at the time) in Henderson, NV. Police report was filed. Submitted to Alpha and Rolex. Still have all original paperwork, receipt and such. Thank you all, feeling reminiscent as Father’s Day approaches. |

Engraved serial numbers will not help you with recovering your watch. Serial numbers between lugs and on rehaut will get manipulated by shady watchsmiths. Your watch is gone, as are most of all the other Rolex watches which got stolen.
If the thief is unable to re-engrave your serial number, he will slaughter the watch and sell its parts. No one checks for movement numbers or dial serial numbers. |

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear about your watch.
I hope that by some miracle you recover it. |
