126718GRNR vs 126618LN

Two black dials. Two made with 18k gold. One wrist. In a world of watches one rises to the top to be a daily driver. Talk to me. I’m getting one or the other. The sub has a great bracelet and can fit perfect. The dial is classic. The gmt jubilee is very comfortable, maybe not as adjustable? Is the dial too busy? I’m making a move next week. Help.

IMHO it depends on your interests; for me it would be the GMT as I refer to GMT several times a day (pilot and ham radio operator). The GMT is also suitable for recreational diving with 100 meters WR. If you're a more serious diver, the sub would be better. You can't go wrong with either.

The sub - that thing is pure class. Also the numbers on the bezel are not as big. If it was TT I would go GMT.

Gmt! Prefer the bezel and the jubilee bracelet. EZlink more user friendly vs glidelock for simple quick adjustment

Between the two, I’d rank the GMT Master over the Submariner. Love them both, but the Jubilee bracelet elevates the GMT.

What a duo

Too close to call, but maybe I’m feeling the GMT in this one. Ma precious metal jubilee has to be a joy to wear

Have the blue dial sub and the GRNR so I vote for the GMT here. The contrasting bezel and jubilee make it more luxurious. And if you get the gold sub it's too subdued in black, it's gotta be blue.

I have owned both several times and leaving price out of it I would get the GMT again because of the bracelet and the fact it is a newer release and stands out more to me. If getting either new from Grey market then that will be a factor as the GMT is running about 4-6k more at the time from my observations. You can never go wrong with a Submariner and I think that is true in this case but the GMT is just more interesting and unique for me. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

Plus if you travel you have GMT function.

I'd go gmt for between those 2 without a question
However for my skin tone I opted for the rootbeer first

The jubilee bracelet is something special in PM. What about a watch that only comes in PM, have you considered a DD40?

Actually I have. Black sticks with yellow gold has always been high on my list. I would do a WG sub and that allllll day in a dream scenario.

For me, PM GMT has always felt a little...dressier? Bling-y? Not sure of the word I'm looking for, but if I'm going PM, it would be GMT.

Actually, in this scenario, I would go sub in TT and the GMT in 18k.

This is not as straight forward as I thought. The black dial gold sub is a classic. The new gmt is a retro modern classic, unique. For one watch daily I honestly can’t decide.

Can’t go wrong with either - but a big factor for me would be what else is in the collection.

One and done? Always go Submariner!

I currently have a GMT Jubillee two tone 126713GRNR, a 126660 deepsea jc and a vintage 80’s 16660 sea dweller. I’d swap the two tone if I got the all gold GMT.

One argument against all gold gmt (albeit hollow to a degree) is that the GMT I’m thinking of upgrading might be best as two tone or all silver because of the bezel. The grey is tied in by the bracelet and the case. The all gold which I tried on today and is crazy nice- the grey kinda has no place as far as design though. To make things worse, I tried on a gold sub with BLUE and man it does just jump in person. It’s gorgeous. So either sub in gold perhaps better serves me. Again, the end answer is all of them but yeah, not quite there yet.
