Where to stay and dine in Toronto?
We were there nine or ten years ago. Stayed in the Four Seasons, I recall it was a hike from the Downtown and Waterfront areas. I don’t recall where we ate, so we may have struck out on that front.
Any recommendations from Toronto natives or business or leisure travelers? |

For your stay, consider the Fairmont Royal York or the Ritz-Carlton for a more central location closer to downtown and the waterfront.
For dining: Alo - For fine dining and an incredible tasting menu. St. Lawrence Market - Great for a casual lunch with a variety of vendors. Scaramouche - Offers a fantastic view and excellent cuisine. Pai - For delicious Thai food in a lively atmosphere. Richmond Station - Known for its farm-to-table approach and great service. Enjoy your trip to Toronto! |

Great suggestions - I would add Barberians if your in the mood for an old school steakhouse and Giulietta for casual Italian (not in the core downtown area but not far never the less) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lived in Toronto most of my life. Where to stay depends on what you want to do without driving. If you like major shopping districts then pick a hotel near Bloor St between Yonge St and Avenue Rd. if you want to be near the lake then there's a good selection at the foot of Yonge in both directions. Keep in mind there is a very good and safe subway system that can get you most anywhere you want to go. As for restaurants there's lots of good casual eateries and pubs so I'll stick to the fine dining places I'd go. None of these will disappoint.
Restaurant 20 Victoria Alo Osteria Giulia Canoe Giuletta Enjoy the visit.

I will be there this weekend…soo much to do around the CN tower. You can also catch a MLB game while checking out all the attractions in that particular area.
Head out to the Yorkville area and check out the amazing boutiques….and the fully stocked watch store….Watchfinder Canada on 118 Cumberland….you will find everything to try on…Rolex, Omega, PP, AP Panerai etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Barbarians for one of the best steaks you'll ever have.
