Anyone collect old fishing lures?

Currently moving and I realize I have a pretty substantial collection. I always liked Creek Chub Pikies because of their look when I was growing up. Over the years I’ve attained other collections. I have everything from early 1800’s Yupik Eskimo walrus ivory lures to stuff from the 50’s.

If there is any traction here I will add some pics.

I caught a fish once.

A mahi mahi. (dorado in the water, mahi-mahi on the plate.)

I lured him into the boat with words of encouragement instead of brute force.

I don’t but I think it’s cool. I’d love to see some pictures and description.

I don’t collect them, but inherited my father and grandfather’s gear. I prefer modern tackle for fishing, but the OG tackle is an art form in itself.

Post some pictures. I’m sure folks would love to see your collection.

That’s just a taste of the collection but some of the more unique or rare pieces.
