Best no-date Rolex options?

I have realized that I don't like watches with dates as not only do I not generally need a date but I find it annoying to have to change it when I don't wear a watch for a while. No date is so much more convenient, I just pop it on, set the time, then go about my day.

However, this of course limits my options.

I already have:

-OP 39 white (114300)
-Explorer 40mm (224370)
-Milgauss Z Blue 116400GV

Options I am interested in:

-Submariner No Date (124060)
-Daytona Black (126500LN)
-OP 39 Rhodium (114300)

Are there any other good no-date options I am missing?

That’s a good list.

I like watches with and without dates, just depends on my mood and the reference.

Thanks. It's a shame there are no different colour options for the sub no date but I guess they want to push people to Tudor for that.

Lots of colorful no date dive watches if that’s your thing (just not Rolex).

Personally, I love the Submariner the way it is. I hope Rolex never messes with it

I am not wanting Rolex to get rid of the date, just add more colour options for no date models. A blue and rhodium would be great.

Understood. I was referring specifically to the Submariner

For me it is without a doubt the single ugliest watch in the Rolex collection and in my view looks far too niche to be practical unless you do actually own a yacht and participate in Regattas.

Is it the date window or the cyclops that puts you off?

He said it was the inconvenience of setting dates.

I could sort of relate. The more watches you have, the more it becomes sort of a pain.

I’m even considering a winder.

Having watches without a date is nice. My Submariner and Speedmaster have always been special, but the fact that they don’t have a date function makes them extra special to me.

By the way, it’s hard to beat the Submariner 124060 when it comes to a no date watch.

What about an older vintage air king? No date and a dressier option.
I would say the newer airking might be similar to your explorer 40

Nice trio you already have!
When I think " no date", the first watch that comes to mind is the Sub. It's also my favorite of any of the no date options.

Out of obtainable ones, Sub No Date 100%

Then there is the 1908 series as well, if we talk Rolex universe.

The Submariner ND hands down for me. An iconic and classic watch that has been updated over the years. The dial has perfect balance without the date wheel. My all time favorite and the watch that gets the most wrist time.

The "no date" Submariner is the closest thing to watch perfection in the known universe - and I don't even own one.

I love the no date sub....but a daytona is special if you can swing it.

I always thought it was silly to not want a watch because of the inconvenience of setting the date, but I admit it is nice to wind my Daytona, set the time and go.

As for your question, I think your collection has a Sub sized hole in it

I think a no date sub would round out your collection nicely.

Sub would give you a fidget bezel to play with. Easier to get by far than the Daytona. Daytona would be my first choice however.

I have both the Op39 Grape and the OP41 Green both very classic and at the same time a little bit unusual with the colours.

Size-wise, which do you prefer?
