Panerai Service Expectations?

So Tuesday I received the packing material from Panerai to have the PAM25 serviced. I finally got it to FedEx to get sent in. Has anyone on the forum used their servicing? I'm curious as to how things should proceed. I hope to hear from them that they've received the watch and an estimate on the final cost to have it serviced and finished.

I had my 233 serviced last year. They did a great job on the refinishing. Watch does run a bit fast. At $1100 I felt it was a bit pricey.

In L.A. as well with a 233 dot dial to be serviced. How/Who did you initiate service with? Thanks.

Add to your PAM account, setup service appointment. They’ll send you a box.

I have been servicing Panerai watches since the early 2000's and have had a mixed bag from Richemont. Sometimes it went flawlessly, other times it required multiple trips and a lot of frustration. My AD handles my service and always has. If I did not have them as a go between it would limit my willingness to buy the brand. I have focused on out of warranty older models and have found I have less issues with them once they are right than the more modern models. I picked up a 162 Chronograph from 2004 from DavidSW Friday and bought a 372 from my AD yesterday from 2012. David gives a one year warranty on the watch and my AD does two years on pre-owned models so any issues will fall to them at least for a time. I do not think you will have an issues servicing your watch it is just the time and money. My two new ones.

The PAM25 was shipped in yesterday. Hopefully it will be a one trip process. Thanks for the response. Great looking watches!

Thanks; since this isn't under warranty they said I'd be kept informed of its progress.
