Tissot Warranty Problem
Hello watch friends,
I have the following problem: I bought a Tissot PRS516 quartz chrono last year (new, direct from the Tissot shop). At some point I wanted to stop something and noticed that the upper chrono button (start/stop) was bouncing - i.e. it was triggered more than once per press. This obviously makes reliable timekeeping impossible. -> When you start a timer, the 1/10 second totalizer jumps to 0.2 seconds and the second does not move. -> If the second continues to run and you try to stop it, the 1/10 second totalizer turns in a circle and the second continues to run. It is completely random whether the problem occurs or not. Everything may be fine for 10 starts/stops - but it may also be that I have to press 10 times in a row until the second finally decides to start running... I've already taken the bulb in for repair twice, but both times it was returned with "No fault found; returned unrepaired". What should I do? I've already thought about making a video of the problem, uploading it and enclosing a note with the video link with the watch next time. I'm just afraid that if no one takes the time to test the watch for 2 minutes, no one will watch the video either... Regards, Mr Westt. |

Either live with it or sell the watch.
