1680 service advice in Asia Pacific
Hi Members,
I reside in Guam and thought I would stop by RSC Tokyo during a vacation break to get my 1680 serviced. Well, RSC Tokyo in Omotesando will not service my White 1680 as dial and hands may be subject to replacement. I thought the RSC would be sympathetic to vintage Rolex owners. I understand that RSC San Francisco is vintage friendly? For those who are geographically far from CONUS RSC, are there any independent watchmakers in my geographical region that you would recommend? Thanks! |

None of the RSCs are consistently "vintage friendly" these days. It's a crap shoot. Michael Young in Hong Kong would be a possibility (classicwatchrepair.com).

Previously, Rolex Japan certified watch stores that could offer the same technology as Rolex Japan as Rolex Technically Certified Shops. Why not request service from these former Rolex Technically Certified Shops? For example, the watch store at Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi in Tokyo is a former Rolex Technically Certified Shop.
I am sure they would be flexible to accommodate your request to keep the original hands and dial. https://www.sankishokai.co.jp/ |
