Icon2 18kt DJ

Hi, Today I saw a mint rolex DJ solid 18kt. 1601, 1570 movt. 1977 circa.
Original rolex leather strap & solid 18kt. buckle.
It had a white dial with black roman figures & black hr. & secs. hand.
Some say these are rare. Is it true. Priced USD 3110.
What say folks ?

Here's a 1983 TT with champagne dial.

The price for the one you saw is probably about right.

Well Rusi when you say rare the only reason you don't see many all gold ones simply down to price. Most at these times bought the TT and if they could afford the all the gold the DD.Now that 1601 I would doubt if strap was original,it was most properly on a gold Jubilee 6311/8 bracelet.

Have to agree on this one, Rusi. Padi truly amazes us most of the time with some very appropriate and helpful answers.

Well Rushi the only white dial with Romans I can recall of the 70s was small hour markers around the outside, with the Romans inside like say for 12.

Now this one I found on the net complete but plain stick dial 18ct gold retail at $4000 but myself would have thought around $3750 top.
