Hello everyone!
![]() I'm considering buying a DJ 41 2024, but I can't decide between the Jubilee and Oyster bracelets. I like both of them, which makes the choice very difficult. I know this is an old debate. While many posts online suggest that the Jubilee is a dress bracelet and the Oyster is a sports bracelet, these distinctions don't really help me make a decision. What do you folks think? ![]() |

My personal opinion is that if you go fluted bezel, get the jubilee. Smooth bezel, go with the oyster.

Jubilee is more comfortable and doesn't show scratches like the Oyster does. If you are getting a fluted bezel, get the Jubilee. The Oyster looks best on the smooth bezel.

I had a fluted bezel / jubilee then traded in for an oyster / fluted bezel. I feel it’s the best of both worlds. Sporty and Classy.

All personal preference, mind. I think it needs flutted as it classic Rolex and the smooth can look a bit plain, like something is missing. Flutted and Jubilee can look too old man for my taste, although excusable with a more modern dial, blue, mint, Wimbledon. Flutted and Oyster gives a nice classic and sporty combination with all dials. |

I have been through a bunch of versions, and have settled on the smooth bezel / jubilee….the comfort of the jubilee is unbeatable and the oyster just scratches too easily. I’m also just not a fan of anything fluted. .

DJ 41 Jubilee vs Oyster
I like the jubilee better. But when I bought my DJ41, I already had a Submariner on an Oyster. So the Jubilee offered a lot more contrast and became even more appealing to me. If you think you might get a Submariner in the future, this is something you may want to consider.

DJ 41 Jubilee vs Oyster
For me, the TT fluted bezel DJ is more dramatic on Oyster, though mine is the 36.

A DJ for me has to be the classic fluted bezel on jubilee. It is the iconic Rolex look.

I went for the opposite (mainly as it was the option offered out the blue...or green). ![]() Sent from my SM-S926B using Tapatalk |

Go with the jubilee on the DJ. Plenty of other models are only available with the oyster.
