Is a new watch style in the 150th drop?

Things have been very quiet over at AP for a minute. The typical Collab drops and upgrades but with Patek dropping the Cubitus right after AP rereleases the Cybertruck, and now Vacheron dropping the 222 SS.
I just think that maybe we can see a new new Drop a new sports watch or Dress watch with a new line of watches.

Other than that my hopes are for a 39mm Jumbo Ceramic and a 38mm Offshore chrono/three hander
Also it’s about time to do a Anniversary blue dial drop

Don’t expect a new line, and hope they don’t announce one. Code 11 is finally picking up some momentum so they should focus more on that line and perhaps have more mid level complications (dual time, annual calendars, etc) at relatively reasonable prices under $40k. Lots of things they can do with materials as well with the code case, such as YG or all ceramic versions (although I’m not sure that’s possible with the lugs).

Perhaps some more remasters, but I think RO, ROO, and Code 11 is a great lineup already.

A new line would be exciting - I assume unlike PP they wouldn't model it after Thierry Stern's head. More likely however that they'll keep the RO/ROO/Concept/Code lineup with the occasional Remaster LE.

If I were in charge, but I am not, I would promptly reissue the Jules (and a Jasmine counterpart). First a chrono, then 3 hand, then Equation of Time Le Brassus.

Lets see if AP follows the square trend and we get a vintage throwback:

Totally agree as AP has been quiet lately with just collabs and upgrades, while Patek and VC are stealing the show with bold drops like the Cubitus and 222 SS. They’re overdue for something fresh, a new line or standout innovation. A 39mm Jumbo Ceramic or 38mm Offshore would be perfect, and it’s about time for another anniversary blue dial. Let’s hope they bring the heat soon!

Steel 222 is the opposite of bold, IMO. Everyone has been waiting for it since the gold 222 came out, and VC finally went ahead as the hype for the gold version is decaying. Cubitus may be bold, in all the wrong ways.

Here is my 2 cents on the 222 Drop, I do LOVE it but if they really wanted to Stand on everyone's head and say look at us we are THE BOSS! they would have dropped it in a 39mm Case WITH a Blue and Green Dial variation and for $29k to $30k MAX!!!! everyone would have lost their minds I feel that the 37mm Case size in SS is MEH vs the 37mm in all Yellow Gold! IMHO

Thanks. Just saw this on IG. I can only make out a few pictures, but interesting how you’ve noticed they’re all skiing related.

Very curious what AP has up their sleeve this year.

Other than reissues….I have no ideas on this, other than if they start teasing various vacation and travel teasers for a dual time.

The new QP and new openworked alone mean it will be a big year, plus new ceramics. It could make more sense to announce a new line another year, if one was coming.

Is the new openwork a confirmed news? I was at the boutique last weekend and my SA only spoke about the new QP (which will be extremely exclusive... Something like 150 workwide)
