New Moonphase Meteorite Has Arrived...
I just watched the full video on Omega's website and think this new release is gorgeous!

Very nice! I like what they did here, the video captures the watch from some nice angles. I'm always a fan of that dial material, especially on a Speedmaster.

Should be a winner. Not a bad price either considering what you get.
Unfortunately I’m just not a fan of meteorite dials. |

20.100 euros for the two tone version Who has the money and common sense to spend these amounts on these watches? Look around and see what you can get for 20k. They simply aren't that impressive or great, this at 43mm or the two tone. BNIB gold speedmasters on bracelet are 20k ish or lower. That's interesting. You really really really got to love them or have plenty of money that you truly don't care. |

I think Aus$28400 is way too low considering what you get? As for availability?

I love the actual lunar meteorite moons. The price of $17.1K USD is up there for steel, but it’s about what I expected.

Quite the nice product. The two types of meteorite and the starry pattern are pretty cool.

Its nice. I prefer the grey and blue. However, I'll probably skip the first round this one.

Not a fan. It is another lazy release for me from Omega. Some detailed comments from the technical side on the comments on several of the watch sites. The price is ridiculous and this will be another watch that just sits, except for the well monied collectors, who like a niche reference. I will check it out and will be looking for it in the market in a few years for 50%-60% preowned and even then it may still be over priced for me.

So, at the risk of sounding really stupid, what exactly is displayed on the dial of this watch.
I can see one sub dial appears to show the date, but there is another hand there as well, are there two dates displayed? The other sub dial appears to show a second time zone, is that correct? Thanks. |

Subdial at 9 shows small seconds and date. Subdial at 3 shows chronograph minutes and hours. The main dial shows the time - hours and minutes hands. Main dial also shows chronograph seconds hand. Subdial at 6 shows the moonphases. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Why 0-29 0-29 on the moon phase dial?

It's a nice looking watch!
I think it would look better without the moonphase, though! They could have maybe kept the 42mm case size too. Glad to hear it is not overly thick. |

Looks nice, especially the grey dial. I still prefer the older moonphase function over this one which just screams MoonSwatch to me. Other than the bottom subdial I like everything else about it, particularly the slimmed down dimensions.

I've tried on the existing 43mm Speedmasters like the Chronoscope and they fit great. The 44.25 mm watches are just too big. The 43s wear like 41-42 mm watches. The manual wind movement makes it so much flatter on the wrist. Like I said, other than the dual moon dial, there's a lot to like here.
