It was very obvious that dial was going to be limited in both quantity per year (particularly the 31mm) and duration of production. Seems credible that it would cease production or has ceased production already.

Not a dial I’d personally wear (though I understand why some do and enjoy it) but my wife absolutely loves hers and it complements her collection nicely and also looks fantastic too.

They are hard to get and may remain so through discontinuation making them only a dream for most to get from an AD.

I asked my AD for a 41 Celebration and was told that it wouldn't happen. But I did get a Pepsi that same year.

Looking at OP's post history, his source did correctly predicate the discontinuation of the YM2 and the fluted motif/palm motif dials for the DJ36/41 last February. I imagine it is the same source who has informed him.

This one doesn't come off as a surprise though. I don't think many were under the impression that the celebration dials would be a long term stay in Rolex's catalog. My personal guess is that they'll be officially discontinued and removed from the site at W&W in April. It only makes sense since the coral red, yellow, and turquoise (41mm) were discontinued only after a two year run.

Those discontinuations actually came after only 18 months, were announced in September 2020, gone in March ‘22.
Had this discussion with my longtime SA over Christmas. Of course Rolex never says much but rumor at the time was that red and yellow had quality control issues with dial consistency and that they didn’t like the hype associated with the full sized turquoise. We wondered out loud if having to print those colors again on the Celebration dial was difficult and a reason why they were so scarce.
I just hope if it’s gone in March they’ll bring out a new cool color to replace it.

Does not matter to me. My Wimbledon is about as crazy a dial as I’d truly want to wear regularly. I am more of a traditionalist. It would just be a fun extra piece for me.

Your Wimbeldon is lovely. The Celebration dial however couldn't be a daily for me, as you say, a fun extra piece.

The only one I’ve ever seen in an AD was a 41 in WOS Hudson Yards late ‘23. Exhibition of course, every dealer will tell you they’re scarce.

Picked it up today and the wife is so happy with it! Our daughter is currently trying to take it over and claim it as hers.
