Some wet and wild photos of my SD 16600
I'm glad you liked my photo of my rolex 5513 - but at the same time I did some shoots of my SD (16600) and GMT (1675).
It is fun to have 3 rolex watches in your pocket, two children playing (throwing stones in the water), and a Panerai on my wrist and then the camera over the neck. Getting to take the shoot was like this - 1)Get the watch out of the pocket - place it on a stone or any where quickly, get the shoots each time a wave came - that gives the action 2) keep a eye on the children 3) ignore the many funny looks from all the people on the beach - 4) Put the watch back in the pocket - getting a new one out and repeat.... Well here are some 16600 photos .... http://watchblog.dk http://watchblog.dk Hope you enjoy - my 1675 to come ...... Keep Smiling ;-) Jan J |

Beautiful.
Man, is it just me or would others be afraid of a rogue wave crashing in and taking that watch out to sea??? |

that's why you gotta find tidepools .... so things can't be washed off shore .... but always gotta keep your eye on the watch .... I once took pics of my SD on the beach and it took about 4 waves to make it sink 3/4 into the sand ....another 2 minutes and it would have been burried .....I always keep one hand on the watch when I am taking pics .... if it ever takes off into the ocean, I would feel like the biggest idiot ever born ......

Cool shots! You're braver than me for putting your watch where it looked like it could be washed away.

Nice pics!
The SD seems to be in its element. What's next, the GMT up in the air?

The SD in its lounging habitat! The SD is heavy that the raging waters can't move it :)
Great photos! Rolex should use these for their ads!
