Consider this:
Someone is willing to buy you any watch you choose. Price is no object.
The catch is that you must give up all the watches you currently own and the new one is the only watch you can ever own thereafter. Would you do it and if so, what one watch would you choose? Fr. John† |

Didn't you post this on the Timezone Rolex forum too??
If money was no object but you could only have one watch, you should probably go with a stainless Daytona. Precious metals don't have the durability of the steel and the 904L is gorgeous and at home in any environment. |

I would either keep my Z serial Sea Dweller (as I think this is the one watch I could have forever and never get bored with) or get a Patek Nautilus

Fortunately I already have that watch. If I didn't I would do it for a YG Daytona.

In terms of my tastes, I'd be hard pressed to give up my SD, but I might be tempted by a mint condition JLC Memovox Polaris from 1965 or a Blancpain 50 fathoms original (not current).
But the more sensible deal would be to ask for a Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon, which at over $1m could set you up nicely if you ever had to sell it |

Lange & Sohne's new Zeitwerk, which uses numerals to tell the time. Either that or the Blancpain 50 Fathoms Tourbillion.

Mind you, I am never giving up my Sub.
BUT......if I had to make a decision based on the hypothetical question from OP, I'd go with PP's Platinum World Time

Wow, such a tough call. I'd have to say no. I love variety. I love changing my watches according to my mood.
