What are your thoughts on Breguet Marine 5817 st

If you have money to spend about 15000 dollars, what would you buy? which one?

I am sorry to say but it wouldn't be the Breguet.
My choice would be for a pre-owned Patek or Lange & Sohne.

To me a lot of it would have to do with which other watches I had in my collection already.

Honesty if I was at the point where I was going to buy a Breguet I would already have a Lange, another AP, a PP, a VC and even then it would be one of Breguets more classic offerings.

BUT

Your money, your tastes, buy what you like!

I do not think you can go wrong with a Breguet, Greg AKA Mosco here sells many brands and he LOVES Breguet

Not sure if I'd buy it if I had the scratch but was able to examine Greg's [mosco] chrono at the Vintage GTG and it was impressive.

Very beautiful watch!!!

If I was dropping 15K, I'd probably go with a pre-loved WG Daytona

IMHO it is not worth $15000. Well, not to me. If I were to drop that much $$$ on a watch it would be something with rose gold. Probably one of the recent JLC pieces.

Breguet is one the nicest watch that I like. If you have the money and you like it, then go for it.

I like that model. Sporty classic design. And like I always say, if you like it and if you can afford it, why not?

A 5817 in SS will set you back much less than $15,000. I think it's a fantastic watch. You can wear it for any activity, and it looks amazing whether in jeans or a suit.
