Dial Question

There is a particular dial I want on a President. I can find plenty of used Presidents for sale, but none with the ivory pyramid dial and smooth bezel. Will RSC change the dial to a different style for me if I buy one with a dial I don't want? If so will they install a smooth bezel on a watch that had a fluted originally? And yes, I know it will not be for free.

Thanks!!

Eddie,

Dial changes are pretty easy to do, but Rolex will usually insist on the watch having a full service. Over here, standard dials are usually priced around the £200 mark, and Rolex will retain the old dial. As for bezels, I believe they won't change them as it would change the reference number of the watch, so your best bet is to find a watch with the right bezel and bracelet, and worry about the dial after that

Hope this helps

Chris

Eddie, the Ivory pyramid is a great choice. That is what I have on my 118238. My last DD had a white with romans so I was not sure if I would like the pyramid. After now having it for a year and a half, I still love it. I do think it would look good with a smooth bezel as well.

A 118208 with the Ivory Pyramid is at my AD, and I LOVE the watch. I like the smooth bezel, I have a fluted on my TT DJ, and I like it just fine, but I think the smooth will be a good compliment to it.
