New Thoughts

As my signature shows, I've love Panerai & Rolex. However, I popped into Omega's site today and was quite fond of the Speedmaster Day-date reference 3221.30.00. Very SEXY!!!

Can any of you fellow TRF's give some feedback on this piece? What can I expect in terms of price from an AD and any discounts they may give? How's the movement?

I am new to Omega and have never even tried one on. My next watch was slated to be a Daytona, but it appears this watch is significantly cheaper. Just looking to see how this one stacks up???

Your input is appreciated!

Both are great choices! I suggest you contact my AD for pricing. He has very special pricing on the Alaska Project.

Check for a PM from me with contact info.

Here are the three I would narrow it down to if I were to buy an Omega over the SS Daytona (white dial). Your comparisons are appreciated!

For some reason, the Speedmaster Project Alaska is IMO, the best looking one out of those three. The two on the left are nice as well, but the dial/face is WAY too cluttered/busy for my tastes. The Project Alaska is "just right".

I agree - the Speedy Alaska has a stunning dial - understated and very classy
