Rolex President Day DAte..... Fault with date bit i think.. help??
Hi guys had the watch a few years and hardly wear it....
had accident with it about 2.5 yrs ago and repair was £3500 and was fully overhauled by rolex... from then on its sat in box Decided this year will wear rather than twice a year(not kidding).. Went to adjust the time and date but it seems that the date does not fully move on and you see the white fan bit as if its stuck????... if i move the winder on it goes thru days ok via quickset however if i wind the hours on to change date the date jams and you see the white fan bit... argh ... help?????? |

Had a smilar problem. However, I sent it back to the RSC while under warranty. Works perfect now.
You'll probably get recommendations to send it to RSC or qualified watchmaker. Your choice there. Hope everything works out. |

Changed last night after hours or so fiddling all looks ok now. Someone mentioned due to lack of use as only worn it for about 4 hours in 2 years. S from now on wearing daily and if happens again will send to rsc. In uk they are taking up to 3 months to do things
