Ebay and Rolex are a dangerous combination. If you are going to by preowned watches, this list has a good list of grey dealers, and other reputable sources as well as ourselves. I would be scared on ebay with Rolexes, but I am an anal and extremely careful and overly concerned consumer.

Never dealt with that person before. Ebay can be a reliable source if the seller is reputable.
Try other sources such as www.watchseller.com , www.preownedrolex.com , www.alanfurman.com or the forsale items from respected members from this forum. Oh, Timezone.com as well.

You did not supply the ebay user i.d which would have been most useful.
Ebay will not give the username but confirms that the email address is valid for a seller on their list. This unnamed seller has a ZERO feedback. Good luck.

Personally I would NEVER buy a watch having not seen it in person.
