Don't understand why. Its not even signed "Rolex", its signed something else. Look at the rachet wheel, that does not say "Rolex".

it's the same, i really wanted it and GOT OUT BID, the gold scrap value was around 200 so was well worth a punt. sadly this one got away i wanted to reseach it and maybe restore it if worth while

A Rolex Prince would be nice. It has the Deco style you seem to be after.
