Guess what I've been doing most of the day. Setting up this bloody train. Although Oliver declared it the best present ever and wants to play with it every day. Note to self. Buy ready assembled presents in the future.

[QUOTE=The Joker;3815880]Merry Christmas everyone, hope you are all having a great day.

Well I can't tell you what a special and emotional moment it was giving mum her Rolex, really wasn't expecting that to be honest. She started crying as soon as she started unwrapping and I started welling up. Upon seeing she said she didn't deserve this. See I seldom see her emotional and crying. Really sorry about the pics. Phone camera is so rubbish. I will go round and size it tomorrow, get a better photo. Thanks to everyone here, helping me pick this out.

SO SWEET! That was so nice of you, Wes...glad she loved it! (knew she would!!)

I'm sure she's 'blown'away' ...!! - I know I would be..
You're a good son/man, Wes. - It was all worth it..

Having a wonderful one! It's a white Christmas, which is pretty rare for where Lisa and I live

Hey, Dawna, how much snow did you get? The weather guys locally had really hyped up the forecast - but I think we ended up with about 1 inch or less on top of that ice layer. The inlaws canceled a get together tonight, but we're enjoying hanging at home.

We may have gotten 2 or 3 inches...we moved our family get-together to last night so that the ones coming in from out of town wouldn't have to drive back during the 'blizzard'. Like you said, the local weather guys really had the drama going on. Still, it counts as a white Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all of you guys! I hope you had a wonderful time with your families and friends!

Wes, I'm really glad to know that your mother loved her Rolex, may she wear it in great health!

I hope you guys enjoyed your gifts! I must admit I didn't have a lot of ideas this year so I decided to ask a few small things I've been thinking about and I'm very pleased since I've had everything I asked for and even more!

Boring? Are you daft!!!??? We love this pics, Wes. The more the better. Thanks for the clearer shots. The watch looks really good on your mom. Perfect size. With her slender wrists, did you get a good fit? Looks like it.

Happy Boxing Day, too! Um, what do you do on Boxing Day?

Well, let us know when the big day is and we'll help you pick. Heh. Just what you always wanted... a selection committee.

No, I would love the help. She just finished the first semester of her Junior yr. Can't believe how fast time has gone. Her mother is really pushing her to continue on for a master degree but I don't think she is too keen on the idea, for now. In Fla one must take 3 classes over the summer semesters to graduate. She took two of them in the summer right after high school. So I think this summer she will take the third.

Oh puh-leaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaze!

Wes, my friend, if the Coffeeshop isn't the place where you can talk about every single problem or concern you have in your life without having people to find you boring, annoying or to refuse to kindly help you, then no place on Internet will be able to help you out! We're here for that my friend, that's why this place is so great!

Thank you for the pictures indeed, it looks perfect on her wrist and I think the grey dial was a fabulous choice!

Happy boxing day Lisa!

I'm working today but only a small shift as stores open later and close earlier today! I'm sure a lot of people will ask what our specials are on dogs and cats toys but we don't have any so don't you guys dare to come to my store looking for discounts!

In all seriousness, I think most people now know that boxing day isn't what it used to be, seems like Black Friday took the job. What say you?

Thanks Art, Carl and Lisa. 2 links out she said was still loose, when moved the adjustment on the clasp, it seems way to tight. So put it back. Think it's fine. Put a drop of nail vanish on the thread screws, told her to keep an eye on them. She's not sure whether to wear on the left or right wrist.

Anyway, what to do on boxing day, have a boxing match? Sit around in your boxer shorts.

I dunno - Boxing Day isn't something we know much about! Did I read somewhere that it's because you box up all of the holiday decorations? I guess we could do that today.... the Christmas tree loses its luster when all the presents are gone.

You mean, just one pin hole difference on the micro adjustment makes it either too loose or too tight?

She's the one wearing it. Is the micro adjustment slightly different on this new oyster to the old. There is only 3 sets of holes. Maybe bit further apart. Anyway I told her snug is better than loose, so maybe she thought it should be tight.

I don't know for certain about the new AK clasp, Wes, but my older Date and DJ have 6 holes spaced only a couple of mms apart.

Thanks Karis, yes it was a very special moment, seeing my mums reaction when she opened the box.

Hope you had a great Christmas.

You'll need to speak to Dave about that. I asked him last night to take the bins out. He does it once a year and since he had shoes on I decided it was a good time. Hm. Maybe I need to ask him to take them back to the house, too. Silly me - assuming he knew it was a round-trip request.

What did you think of the house? I promise that if you move in across the street I'll never leave the bins out again.

Maybe a little too small. And I don't know about those bins. Next thing you know you'll have a refrigerator on your front porch.

I did like the one at 41st at Shartel...
