yes ....love Formula 1, Vettel is in a class by himself, just like this Daytona. Personally though I would spring for a used Bentley first...

It's without doubt a stunning piece but at £50k, you have to question the value aspect and the fact that the same watch bar the actual metal is available at a fraction of the price......
So for me, even though I've got the WG Sub, which I'm sure a lot of people would say the same point applies, it just concentrates the mind more at £50k...... since it starts moving into more complicated watch territory or even the start of vintage PN Daytona pricing...... But didn't stop me going for a try ...... Loved the weight and mesmerising blue dial but had reservations about the brown bezel and brown sub dials...... So not for me. |

Tried one on today. I do love the platinum heft and glacier is my favorite dial color but couldn't get past the chestnut. Seems to really give the watch very casual vibe.
I don't wear much brown so it's not really going to be on my short list. |

Better in person
My buddy came over Saturday and showed me his. It's an amazing piece! At least twice as heavy as my SS Daytona, but wasn't too bad once I put it on. (and didn't want to take it off!) He can afford it, so good for those whose can.
