ROO Diver or ROO 42mm
The dilemma: I like the following watches for different reasons
-The Royal Oak Offshore stainless diver Beautiful and timeless. drawback- can't admire the momement -The new 42mm Royal Oak Offshore models I like the design and size and the return to a modest pushers in ceramic drawback- wish the bezel was ceramic Which watch would you purchase? Why? Any pics of the new ROO 42mm are welcome. Love you diver pics too |

I would get one of the new 42 ROOs, or one of the 44 with the ceramic bezel.

I love the Diver for its timeless design and versatility.
If you have a small collection I would get the Diver...if you have a big collection go with a ROO chrono. |

I would go carbon or ceramic diver over the new 42mm ROOs. It will prob take time before we see decent discounts from the $26k price on the new ROOs. The FC and ceramic can be had in the low $20s and I think both are great a great value in the AP ROO line up.
I would give up a modular chono feature for increased water resistance, a FC or ceramic case, ceramic bezel, and Ti caseback, plots and buckle. |

Go for the ceramic diver, it's the best of both worlds as it has a display back. Good luck in your decision.

I'd get an FC or Ceramic Diver (as many above said).

I haven't seen the new 42's in the flesh...
But I know I LOVED my Diver and I want one back pretty bad. Such a nice piece - comfortable for everyday wear. If weight is a concern the new FC and Ceramic pieces are Rock solid too. |

It may also be worth considering the royal oak chrono in this price bracket - could always get the conversion kit and wear it on leather or rubber too, would give a lot more versatility with the bracelet too
