No pics, but I have both a stainless white dial and a solid gold 16528 at the moment.

Got the white dial because I like it, got the 16528 as a money maker. Never wear gold watches anymore.

White face stainless. W/g strap and solid w/g. All wear very differently. the solid w/g is extremely heavy. both w/g watches very susceptible to scratches on bezels. Stainless is the more durable (wore daily from 04 to 07) and lookes brand new with a polish. But.... the w/g ones are just more eye catching IMHO

I have both

a SS white face and actually two WG on straps. Just very different watches. The SS is classic and the one to get if you were to have just one. I actually prefer the WG but it scratches easier.

I had a brand new D serial number YG White Dial Daytona on my wrist today. $17,500 from an AD, new, no tax. I could not pull the trigger though. I am out of debt and did not want to get back in.

I already have the SS White Dial Daytona, but Man that YG was singing to me!!

Yes. The SS is relatively light and bright; a perfect watch in most respects; but I like Daytonas so much, I bought two more. Actually the gold Daytonas, especially the one with a strap, are very comfortable. I like the weight and look of the gold watches.
