Daily Wearer Advice
Currently have a GMT 116710 as the daily beater and am thinking about flipping to a SubC 114060. Has anyone else done the same?

Never owned a GMT of any variation, although I did wear a pre-ceramic Pepsi SS model for a day or two and really liked the feel. I have a 14060m and would not even consider trading that for any GMT, simply because I love the feel on the wrist and the look of the dial and bezel over any on the GMT's.

I would add the sub, not flip for it. The GMT is one of the best all around watches out there, IMO.

Any modern Rolex can be a daily wearer. Even the most expensive ones.

Thank you all for the input--gotta love TRF! Have decided to keep the 116710 as the daily wearer due to my love of the date function and save to add the 114060 in the (hopefully) soon future.

For me they are VERY VERY similar. I think it would be better just to have both. I wear a 116613 everyday although function wise...I think GMT is more useful...

I have an all black Y-series GMT-II and it gets about 90% of my wrist time. My IWC 3756 gets about 8% and the remaining 2% is split among a bunch of other Rolexes, GP, JLCs, Glycines, Breitlings, and a few others.
I would keep the GMT as it is about the most useful watch there is, and add to the collection.

GMT is a great watch and one that shouldn't be replaced. I echo many on this thread and say you should add the no date.

I believe you wear a watch and not a beater, and any Rolex is for daily wearing that's what they are for. While beaters are something to beat with, like whisking eggs, or cream.
