What year did Rolex add the date complication to Submariner?

Actually there have been a few dates given...according to the Antiquorum catalogue issued for their Rolex auction the date given for a Sub date is 1967, model 1680... this was also the date of the release of the first Sea Dweller..

I would say 1967, too, although this site says 1969.
