So I appear to be on a Faber roll. I have literally postponed for years any Faber Castell purchases as they were so expensive. But moving along in years and of course $$$$, these fountain pens become more acquirable.

I have purchased 3 this month and this is the last.

You have to love an almost perfectly engineered and delightful FP that is created to last through the ages.

I have lusted after many of the upper Fabers for years and it seems that several sellers have decided to reduce them to the point where I can now bid on them without any reservations as to the pricing. These Fountain Pens are engineered to perfection. Literally!

I have collected fountain pens since the late 1980s and these pens just drive home quality!

I sometimes wish I had reserved slots in my pen collection boxes for Graf von Faber Castell fountain pens! It is a sure thing that these writing instruments do not come except by the dedication to craftsmanship!

I have enjoyed fountain pens since my youth. When i meet a colloector of fine fountain pens, it is a joy. My collection is small but excellent. I am a memeber of a fountain pen appreciation club and never tire of looking a fine fountain pens.

I was exactly the same in my earlier years of collecting!

Drill into as much knowledge as you can at your juncture. You will eventually be able to build your collection to the extreme and enjoy the fruits of your labors and patience.

The characteristic about Faber pens that is so desirable is that you can take a rollerball pen for example and substitute another like fountain pen assembly in them.

You can acquire a Faber FP and then several Faber Rollerballs and use the FP assembly to make them either a RB or an FP.

It multiples your collection without even trying. Just remember they have to be of the same genre.
