Search not working correctly?
Every time I do a search, the results only show the postings of certain members. I have been having this weird problem for a long time.
The first photo is my search of the Rolex Classifieds for "DateJust." The second photo show the current listings on Rolex Classifieds at the time. The first DateJust on this screen shot of the Classifieds is not the first one on my search. In fact, I counted 17 DateJust postings before the one from ViperB. What am I doing wrong? |

Your first search screen shows 1 thru 25 of 505 entries.
It's not unusual to show a number of a particular members listings if they are listing a lot of Datejusts, which is included in the description. I doubt that the other 480 listings are for the same member.

Right, but normally the posts are sorted by date not the OP

They are sorted by date when I use the Advanced Search and search the Rolex For Sale Board using the exact same keyword. I see a completely different listing page.
Perhaps the OP has some preferences selected and should go to the bottom of the page and clear these.

As there are other posts with Datejust in the title that pre-date the first search, that is not the first criteria.

I was able to replicate your initial search results, tried changing a few things and it came up a little different, but still not correct.
Not sure what is going on and if this is just temporary or not. |

I tried the advance search, clicking the "show post," and "show thread" options. Results were still not correct.

I do not use the search often so the problem is not a big deal for me but I was just wondering if it was a simple fix. |
