Am I allowed to post

A little box at the lower left of the page says I am NOT allowed to; post new threads, post replies, or post attachments. However, I am allowed to edit my posts.

It hasn't been 24 hours yet, but last night I paid to re-join RF after a several year hiatus. Am I being kept out because of the 24 hour thing, or am I missing something?

Well, you're right. It is a "new thread". Based on that box I was wondering if I could even post, so I tried. I haven't been able to post my ad in the Classifieds though.

Instead, I should have asked where to go look for answers. Which is where you directed me. Thanks. I'll go to the support section

You need to be a Pledge Member in order to post ads in the classifieds. Once your status changes/gets updated you should be able to.

Thanks for the help guys. I sent him a PM. I imagine he's a busy guy, so he'll get 'round to me when he can.

I've been sitting on this Explorer for 4 years now because of sentimental attachment, so a few days more won't matter.

Not sure how Steve found out about me; whether it was the visitor message I sent, one of you guys, or my posts.

In any case, I did have a message from him this morning asking the email addy for my PayPal account.

I sent him the information this morning, so I expect things to be resolved shortly.
