Billy Joel
First time.
I don’t normally stay up past 9:30. But this seems like a good reason to get crazy.

Wow.
What a performer. Just got home. So pooped. I cried. My wife cried. It was incredible. Foreigner showed up and sang two songs. They too were incredible. Saw a lot of gold Rolex watches. What a night...

In my "Top 5 Greats".
Man's a genius and there are only a dozen on THAT list. Would love to have seen him in his heyday.

Rough workout this morning.
Wifey is still snoozing away. This was an experience not to be missed. If possible, I recommend to all. At 68 years old this guy is filled with energy and charisma. He sounds like he did in the 80’s and performs like a young man. I was actually worried about him a few times. He’s rather portly clearly not overly healthy. But damn, he’s talented. I wondered before the show, why does this legend do this. He doesn’t need the money. He’s got to be tired at this point. What’s the point? I’d be sipping tequila in Mexico if I had his money and experience. Id be chilling. But after seeing him perform, and the adoration of the crowd, it’s easy to understand. I’d not be able to give up that kind of energy either. When Pinao Man finally played the entire place sang along. It was really special. And this guy does this ALL THE TIME. Wow. Just so impressive.

Oh. And for what it’s worth, I’m not good with crowds. But it all went well. Minimal anxiety in that regard.
And I’ve been off the sauce for a couple of weeks now. I thought it would be challenging to be in this environment without some booze in me. Easy peasy. In fact, I saw a bunch of people leaving over and over to get more drinks. By the end of the night they were a wreck. I’m tired, but all things considered, I feel super. And those people missed half the show!! And I likely saved at least $150. Water was $6. Krioke. There might be something to this no drinking thing.
