2 out of 3 ain't bad...

After pic... love these straps. Super soft, nice and thick, "seat-belt" style weave.
Hard to see on my crappy pic... far left strap has is Silver edge, far right strap has yellow/gold edge
Don't know how I did this... ordered a 22mm strap for Orange Monster, but lugs only 20mm apart... d'oh!

Oh well, as that great philosopher Meatloaf said... "Two out of three ain't bad..."

Nice going John!!

I like that SKX like quartz diver, I haven't seen that one before, it looks like you've had that for a long time.

Thanks Steve
Good spotting Steve, yes very old now, bought new, had that one for about 35 years! My 11 year old son wears it now...

Nice straps! I like the seat belt material reference. I suspect that my Seikos will outlive me. My ten year old models are fine, with no service stops.

Has anyone tried and liked the BluShark 'Kwik Change'?

Very nice. Thinking about new shoes for a SRP 777 (black Turtle).

Nice setup there with the new BluSharks. I just ordered a few from them as well. I may have to get a few more. Pretty affordable and plenty to choose from.

I have a 6.5 inch wrist and I find NATOs often long. Does anyone sell them in short sizes?I ‘be heard that you can cut and cauterize them, but I am not sure that I would be competent at trimming it.

I have a small wrist too. One of the BluSharks I got was too stiff to do the fold over. Some nice sharp scissors and a lighter are all you need.

Here's a shot of the one I did it to. You can barely notice it in person. And it looks way better than the huge fold that I had before.

You can't use them on Seiko divers since the spring bars only have a .8mm tip. Seiko divers have a 1.1mm tip. You will wear the case out or lose your watch.

If you get a one piece RAF strap they are usually shorter. My company carries them in 270mm long. And my natos are 290mm long.
