Seeking advice - 1967 Rolex ref. 1500

Looking for some advice. I recently won an ebay auction for a 1960's Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref. 1500. I paid $1831 (I'd link to the auction but the forum won't let me post links until I have more posts).

When I received the watch, the dial had significantly more wear on the dial and hands than pictured on the ebay listing. Seller is willing to accept a return for a full refund. I'm on the fence.

What do you think? Did I get ripped off? I really like the watch but I feel like it isn't worth all the money I bid in part because of the wear on the dial.

The last photo is the watch on my wrist. It's hard to capture the wear on the dial in a photograph--the dial is kinda shiny and changes colors in different light. Sometimes it's dark grey, sometimes it's this lighter blue/purple/grey like in this picture.

IMHO, it’s a keeper. But the decision rests in your heart as to what you want on your wrist

Say, 34mm looks good on u. That dial is damaged. That dent would bother me every time I look at it. I can live with tropical, fading, stain, etc., but not something like that. It should have been disclosed. If u r having second thoughts, then maybe u should reconsider. 1500 is not hard to find in good condition.
