I was wondering when one of you tossers would show up? Didn't take too long, did it?

Pretty simple, Ryan.

Partridge has 2 shops, correct?

Well, the one on Broadway is a new one on 237 Broadway and is a ROLEX only shop along with some fine jewellersy.

The one on Queen St. has all other high-end models, but no Rolex. The OMEGA sign there is a dead giveaway. They also are the ONLY dealers in NZ for Patek Phillipe watches!! A fine collection they have!!

Congratulations on nabbing two great watches for the price of one, but honestly, how did you manage to break your Frogman in the shower?

Thanks JJ, I would never have known that. I did all of my window shopping and trying on in Japan. Once I knew what I wanted I contacted the ADs in Auckland. Partridge was the last place I rang and Glenn gave me a great deal off the bat. So literally, once I got off the plane I headed dstraight to Queen St.

The summers in Japan are really humid, so I'd taken it off in the shower sometime in June 08 thinking I'll use it again once it gets a little cooler. It'd been hooked on the wall since then as a bathroom clock and I guess all of the temperature fluctuations weakened the case and one day it simply dropped from the where it was hanging onto the tiled floor and the plastic casing shattered into 6 or 7 pieces. At first, I was bummed but now all I can say is 'Thank God'.

Something tells me that married WISes the world over are going to be hanging Frogmen in their showers, with each secretly rehearsing his shock and horror routine, whispering the words "decent watch" into the ear of his sleeping wife, waiting for the day when the Frogman finally falls and shatters on the tile floor.
